“Churchill”

Churchill is the most impressive and unique Defender we have ever had here at Surfside4x4. Like his namesake, he is large, powerful, capable and exudes tremendous character.

He is definitely one of a kind and is in a league of his own. He was originally built by Jaguar Rover Australia (JRA) for the Australian Army as part of Project Perentie. He is one of only 26 double cabs built. They were factory built with  a super heavy duty, galvanized chassis, 6 wheel drive, Isuzu 3.9 liter Turbo Diesel engine, an extra large cabin, and a width approximately 9″ wider than a stock Defender.

We have further upgraded  this amazing vehicle  with a high quality repaint in 2019 Range Rover “Silicon Silver”, a left hand drive conversion, a new AC system, beautiful interior, a modern winch, Custom Built Alloy Wheels, new tires and L.E.D. Lights.
