“Liberty”

Liberty has been a very special truck in the Surfside 4×4 Stable. She started life as a RHD 1984 90 Station Wagon and eventually made it to Nantucket, MA as the mascot for the Jack Wills Store on South Water Street.

We rescued her back around 2011 and started a complete restoration at our shop, British Four Wheel Drive Co.  She needed everything so we decided it was a great opportunity to make some huge upgrades in driveability and looks. The main upgrades were a conversion to left hand drive, TD5 engine, and R380 5 speed trans, and AC. We painted her in an authentic TD5 color, Caledonian Blue {LRC507}. We sold her to a long time, great, local customer, and bought her back a few years later.

Since then we added Masai Panoramic Windows,  Diamond Cut Sawtooths, LED Lights, and a Voyager Offroad Roof Rack. We have kept her ever since in our private collection.  We are pleased to offer her now and wish to see her find another really good home.
