“Spartacus”

Spartacus is an ultra low mile, 1996 left hand drive, 5 door Defender 110 station wagon. He has spent his life serving with an Italian Fire Brigade and has under 25k original kilometers. That is only 15k miles in 30 years! Spartacus also features the most desirable and reliable  engine/transmission combination: a 300tdi turbo diesel and R380 5 speed transmission. His iconic Portofino Red Paint is still in very good condition as is his grey vinyl interior. He also features a unique rear safari door which swings upward, rather than sideways. A setup that we have never seen before.

Spartacus runs and drives like new and is an unrepeatable find. There are plenty of “restored” Defenders out there, but virtually no ultra low mile originals like this one.  There are a few good shops out there and plenty of bad ones, but even the best can’t compare with the factory in build quality. As the old saying goes, “They are only original once”. Spartacus is a great value at a price far less than any of those fancy builds.
